- We do not save, cache, or store downloaded video files on our server disks. Once the browser completes the stream download, no traces of the video file remain on our server.
3. Download History (Local Storage)
VidsDownloader features a "Your Downloads" history section. This list is generated and stored entirely inside your own web browser using the standard localStorage API.
None of your download history data is sent to our servers, sold, or shared with third parties. You can clear this history at any time by clearing your browser's site data, cache, or cookies.
4. Log Files and Telemetry
VidsDownloader follows a standard procedure of utilizing log files and basic analytics telemetry. The information tracked includes:
- Masked IP hashes (hashes are generated and stored anonymously for unique visitor counting).
- Browser type (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and Operating System platform.
- Date and time stamps of site page views and API requests.
